New Contest: What style of painting would you like me to create for you?

Welcome everyone! Today is the start of Photo Into Painting’s first online contest. One lucky winner will receive a finished .jpg file of a digital watercolor or digital oil portrait created from their photo. The file will be optimized for an 11×14 print size.

I am giving one lucky winner unrestricted non-commercial rights to use my digital work however they like! What does that gobbly goop mean, you ask? Simply put, you may make copies at your favorite lab or print shop, share it across the web and allow your friends and family to make copies, too! As long as the person using the file does not make money from it, then anything is game. The finished file and rights usage is valued at $1,035.00 (note: I do not normally release my files.) So good luck and check out the contest rules below:

  • All you have to do to enter is leave a comment about what style and print type you like.
  • Only comment once.
  • 1 winner will be randomly chosen and will receive a finished .jpg of a digital watercolor portrait or digital oil portrait valued at $1,035.00.
  • Comments will remain open until Friday, August 14th.

Hi Amy, I’m glad you stopped by! It looks like you are the first one to find me. The contest is open to one and all and so far you have no competition! Spread the word… or maybe you shouldn’t… because so far you have it girl!

I’m waiting on the creative brief to start illustration on the children’s book—I can’t wait to get started—thanks for asking. Good luck! This is so much fun!

  6. Lydia says:

    Hi Jason!

I would love a painting! I can’t decide between the oil or watercolor, I actually like the charcoal too!! However, if I don’t win, I still want to order the pictures from my dad’s funeral. We need to get together so that I can choose the photos I want. Let me know when you want to get together.

God Bless You and good luck with your site!

    • Jason Marti says:

Hi Lydia Thanks for stopping by! If you are selected, you will have plenty of time to decide what style of painting you would like me to create for you. Good Luck! Only a few more hours until the contest is closed and a winner is chosen.
